✨AMBER- A YEAR LATER✨
Around a year ago Amber started training with us. She had struggled with addiction to drugs and alcohol in the past but was on the road to recovery and living in a dry house when she started. Amber has been training hard and consistently ever since and it’s clear to see that she has done incredible and continues to improve daily. We caught up with Amber a year later and here is what she had to say;
“I train around 4-5 times per week, I’ve lost 15kg in weight (from 70kg down to 55kg), and I have absolutely loved the last year! My CrossFit friends are like my family and I’ve improved massively in every area in technique and strength. Getting up for CrossFit every morning has given me so much more energy and zest for life, by 8am I feel like I’ve already achieved so much and got to hang out with my favourite people along the way. The coaches have been incredible and have celebrated every win, first full burpee, first box jump, and all my pbs along the way. Crossfit has been challenging to my body and mind but with the coaches and my friends in the class I keep rising to the challenge :)”
