🎯 The importance of setting goals Why do we focus so much on goal setting at CrossFit Greater Brislington? Because having a clear goal provides purpose, direction, and most importantly – accountability. From day one, the first thing we ask every new member on their no sweat intro “What are your goals?”. This helps us tailor a plan that works specifically for you. Every 12 weeks, we invite all members to book a 1:1 goal review session with a coach which is included in all our memberships. 💪🏼Supplements Everyone Should Take If there's one simple step nearly everyone can take to feel and function better – whether you train regularly or not – it’s taking a few foundational supplements: 1. Creatine Monohydrate 🧠 Not just for athletes. Creatine supports brain health, energy levels and muscle retention, especially as we age. A great daily dose is 5g per day. 2. Vitamin D3 ☀️ In the UK, many of us are deficient due to lack of sunlight. D3 supports mood, immune function and bone health. We recommend 4000iu per day, especially during the darker months. 3. Omega-3 Fish Oils 🐟 Great for heart, joint, and brain health, omega-3s also help reduce inflammation. 5–10g per dayis ideal, depending on your diet. 🩸To really know what your body needs, we also recommend getting blood work done at least once a year.
