Good afternoon team, I hope you all had a great weekend. A huge well done to everybody that took part in yesterdays Winter Throwdown, was so impressed with everybody especially the guys who were competing for the first time, you smashed it. While everybody is in the competitive mood, this years CrossFit Open starts on Thursday. One workout per week for 5 weeks. We will be programming the workouts for Fridays class (Friday Night Lights). Because of the nature of the Open and us not knowing what the workout is going to be until the morning we post it, there wont be anything else that day, the session will just be the Open workout. …

Good evening team, I hope you've all enjoyed your weekends. A couple of things for you this evening before Programming. First of all, the deadline to enter the Winter Throwdown next Saturday has now expired, we have loads of teams confirmed so it should be good fun. The plan is to get started for around 9:30am and be done by 1:00 / 1:30pm. Once I've finalised the wods Ill let you all know the heats, timings and the movements, either tomorrow or Tuesday so you'll have plenty of time to prep. "My lifestyle has changed drastically over the last few years. I have gone from being 23 stone, smoking 30 a day and binge drinking every weekend down to 15 stone and nearly tea total.....except for special occasions. Good afternoon GB'ers, I hope you've all had great weekends. I am pleased to announce that we are going to start stocking some more snacks and drinks for you guys. Our latest addition will be 'Hench Fuel' Protein Porridge pots. I was away on a course this weekend and had a few of these and they are incredible. Good evening team, I hope you've all had great weekends. Two lots of congratulations due, the first is to Ellie Nichol who competed in the British Champs and finished 10th out of 14. She was amazing, hitting 3 from 3 on her Snatch and a nice little 3kg Comp PB and then 2 from 3 on her Clean and Jerk matching her previous comp PB....a good day in the office. Good evening guys, I hope you've all had great weekends. Im sure you've all heard about the Winter Throwdown on the 17th Feb. If not, its a one day comp for all abilities and is for GB Members only. The comp is fully inclusive meaning nothing overly technical, and is just an excuse for a good days training and a bit of fun. Good evening team, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and for those of you that did the burpees, I hope you've all recovered. Thanks to you guys iv had a bloody brilliant Xmas. It started a few weeks ago with the Social and then on Xmas eve the Burpee challenge.....it was EPIC!! This week is reduced hours at the gym, so iv decided to get some longer wods in for you guys, combined with some lifting because i know you all love to lift.
