Good morning all. Kicking off todays bulletin by congratulating J Mac, Larry, Alice and Jess who took part in the Chew valley throwdown last weekend and finished 3rd overall. Fantastic achievement made even more impressive by the fact that Larry and James both did the Saturday Wod the day before......beasts!!! I have planned the route for the Pen Y Fan climb in March and its just over 8 miles with an estimated time of 3.5- 4 hours. Good morning GB'ers, I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. As I mentioned in the newsletter I am kicking off our 'Outside the Box' series with a day out in Wales to climb Pen Y Fan. There will be the option to do this with a weighted Bergon (If I can get hold of enough) but the plan is to meet at the gym nice and early on Sunday 10th March and head down in Convoy. A lot of us are probably an hour in on our Marathon Rows for the Ben Millard charity event when this post goes out, but if you're not currently rowing and reading this post come on up to cheer us on and have a piece of cake (£1 each all proceeds going to Charity). Good morning all, I hope the weekend has been good to you. Want to kick off this newsletter by congratulating Ellie on smashing her Weightlifting comp last week. Ellie hit a 70kg snatch for a 5kg comp PB and and a massive 84kg clean and jerk for a PB. This is a 154kg total giving her a 6th place overall finish with only one lady snatching more than her. Loads of people signed up which is great. Trying to raise as much money as we can for Ben so if anyone is able to make some cakes to sell on the day it would be much appreciated. Good morning all, I hope you've all had a lovely weekend (so far). Amazing response with regards to the Charity event on the 3rd Feb, Im mega keen to try and get as much money as we can for this amazing cause. As mentioned before it will be a minimum contribution of £10 per person to be paid on the day. In addition I was going to do a Cake sale so if we have any bakers that would be able to whip something up for us that would be ace. I am really pleased that we had a load of interest in the Charity event we are going to be running on Sunday the 3rd Feb.
