Good morning all, I hope you're all enjoying the weekend. Thanks to everybody that took part in this years Open, it was great fun and I for one am glad I signed up....I'v not worked that hard in a long time. Classes will be going back to normal now with the long wods alternating each week and the regular Saturday hustle back on. The next event will be the Christmas Eve challenge so if anybody has any ideas comment below. Good morning all, excited to announce that we are starting the 'Sweat' sessions this week. Thursday evening at 7:45pm for 45 minutes and then Saturday morning at 8:00am. For the first few weeks these sessions are free so if you have any friends that may be interested ask them to get in touch or send them this link COPY AND SHARE. Spaces are limited guys. Also there some changes to the memberships for new members coming through. These changes will NOT affect current members in any way so as long as your membership is still active these changes wont affect you at all. Good morning GB'ers, some of you may have seen that I am planning on introducing Sweat sessions to the program. These are going to be 45 minute sessions with an emphasis on just conditioning using low skill movements (nothing overly technical) such as shuttle runs, rowing, bike, skipping, basic bodyweight movements etc. These will be included in your memberships so you will be able to book onto these as normal via teamup. Good morning guys, I hope you're all having a great weekend. This Years Xmas party will take place on Saturday 14th December. We will be doing the '12 days of Xmas' Wod in the morning and then we will be heading back to the gym in the evening. The plan is to have some nibbles and drinks at the gym, do the awards and then head into town. This means that parents can bring the kids so we can do their awards at the same time and then around 9ish those that want to can head into town for drinks and then to the club where we'll have an area reserved. Good morning all, I hope you're all enjoying your weekends. Before you scroll straight down to the programming, a few things to mention. The changes to the timetable come into play this week. This means Kids sessions will be running on a Thursday at 4:15pm instead of Friday and there will now be an adults class at 4:30pm on a Friday instead of the 7:30pm Friday class (Gym will close at 7:30pm). Also the weekend classes are now at 9am with the gym open from 9am until 11am both days. CHALK USE

Most of the time people that constantly chalk up during a workout are using it as an excuse to get a few extra seconds rest. The use of chalk is to decrease the moisture in our hands but you don't need to constantly re apply it. If you have very sweaty hands bring a towel with you and dry between sets, it leaves a lot less mess. When and how you should use chalk: - Firstly this is a little amount of chalk, not so much that your hands would get lost in the snow! - Apply a LITTLE at the beginning of a workout that involves a lot of bar work. - Apply chalk to the part of the…

Good morning GB'ers. Attached is a picture of the updated timetable that I am going to be trialling from Monday the 7th October. Having closely analysed the results from the survey you did a while back and class attendances this year I am working towards building a timetable better suited to the majority. I have a lot of exciting plans for the gym and over time will be implementing these but for now I have moved the Fridays Teens Class to a Thursday and replaced it with a 4:30pm Adults class. I have then removed the 7:30pm Class from Friday as its always very quiet so the gym will now close at 7:30pm on a Friday.…
