Good morning GB'ers I hope you are all enjoying the weekend. Just a reminder that this Sunday there will be no classes as its the 'Outside the Box' golden cap hike. The plan is to meet at the gym for 8am and head down to West Bay. We will then complete a 4 mile coastal walk to the golden cap and then turn around and make our way back to west bay (8miles in total). Good morning all, as you know it is a Bank Holiday Weekend so tomorrow the gym will be open from 9:30am to 12pm. It has become a bit of a tradition for CrossFit Gyms around the world to run a Memorial Day 'Murph' session on Monday the 27th so thats exactly what we are going to do. I am going to put on two class, one at 9:30am and one at 10:30am, each capped at 15 people so if you would like to take part then make sure you book in ASAP. I have done some research into booking the cotswold water park and am hoping to book a day out August / September time so I will keep you guys posted on that. I did a post earlier in the week about not dropping the bars with 10's on. I don't mind if you're going for a max lift but if you're warming up or in a Workout there is no need to be dropping bars from overhead. Good morning GB'ers, I hope you are all enjoying your weekends. A quick reminder that as it is a Bank Holiday tomorrow so the gym is open from 10am until 1pm with a class at 10am only. Im glad to see the Weightlifting classes have picked up a bit, especially the mid week session. Sundays Gymnastics Strength class is still pretty quiet. Good morning guys, I have changed the date of the Competition to Saturday 4th May as there were a lot of people unable to compete due to the easter weekend. I'm hoping more people will get involved on the 4th, its great fun and for all abilities so grab a partner and sign yourselves up.....there will still be Golden egg prizes for the winners ;) The Social will still be as planned on Saturday the 20th.
